Fly to Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Azores.

Day 2 -10

Discover Sao Miguel

Upon your arrival in Ponta Delgada, you’ll take a private transfer to your hotel.
You’ll spend the next 9 nights discovering this amazing island, known as the “Green Island,” one of Europe’s top adventure destinations.

São Miguel, known as the "Green Island" of the Azores, is a volcanic paradise known for dramatic landscapes, including crater lakes (Sete Cidades, Furnas), lush tea plantations (Gorreana), hot springs (Terra Nostra, Caldeira Velha) and black sand beaches.

    Discover two of the island’s most iconic natural wonders in a single day. Begin your journey exploring the Sete Cidades volcanic crater, famous for its twin lakes—one blue, one green— surrounded by breathtaking viewpoints such as Vista do Rei. You’ll continue through scenic roads, coastal landscapes and traditional villages. In the afternoon, you’ll visit Lagoa do Fogo, a pristine crater lake located in a protected natural reserve. Admire panoramic views over the island’s central mountains, the coastline and the untouched forest that surrounds this magical place.

    This tour is a relaxed and fun introduction to the culture and gastronomy of the Azores. On this all-inclusive tour, you’ll visit some of the city's best eateries, learn about local culture and lifestyle, and sample unique, delicious foods while walking through charming cobblestone streets. This tour takes place in downtown Ponta Delgada and visits several eateries, the farmers’ market and a few shops. You’ll enjoy an all-Azorean menu that includes fruit, honey, local bread rolls, pastries, seafood and meat products, ending with a homemade dessert. The tour also includes local tea and two additional drinks (sodas, beer or house wine).

Return to Canada

After breakfast, you’ll take a private transfer to the airport in Ponta Delgada to board your return flight home.
