Day 1

Depart Canada

Overnight flight to Beijing’s International Airport. 

Day 2

Welcome to Beijing

Upon arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, you will be required to clear customs and immigration. After collecting your luggage, proceed to the arrivals area, where a dedicated local representative will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name. You will then be escorted to your transfer, which will take you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Day 3

Beijing

After breakfast, meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby and set out on a rewarding day of discovery. Enjoy a guided city tour that brings you to the heart of Beijing. City. The remainder of the day is at leisure, or you may choose to join an optional activity at additional cost.

    Today’s journey starts with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the second largest public square in the world, followed by the Forbidden City, a magnificent imperial palace complex and UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Located at the heart of Beijing, the Forbidden City spans approximately 180 acres and is enclosed by an imposing defensive wall and deep moat, making it one of the largest and best‑preserved ancient palace complexes in the world. The experience is complemented with a delicious lunch featuring the renowned Peking Roast Duck, allowing you to savor flavors that blend rich tradition with culinary innovation.

Day 4

Beijing

After breakfast, get ready for one of the most anticipated highlights of your journey, a tour of the majestic and awe-inspiring Great Wall of China.

The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure, or you may choose to join an optional activity at additional cost.

    Most iconic symbol of China’s rich history. Climb a portion of this magnificent 3,700-mile structure and take in the breathtaking views that stretch across the horizon. As you ascend, be captivated by stunning stone carvings and ancient watchtowers, which wind gracefully along the majestic mountain ranges, enhancing the grandeur of this historical masterpiece. With a picnic-style lunch included, you can fully immerse yourself in the Wall’s timeless beauty at your own pace, soaking in its awe-inspiring scenery. En route to the Great Wall, make a stop at one of Asia’s largest Jade Exhibitions, where you’ll learn about the cultural significance of jade in China.

    On the return journey, drive past two architectural marvels, the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, symbols of modern China, built for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Day 5

Beijing – Shanghai – Suzhou

After breakfast and checking out, your tour guide will escort you to a traditional Chinese health centre for an insightful experience. Following the visit, you will be transferred to the train station for an exciting high-speed train ride to Shanghai, also known as "The Pearl of the Orient.”

Upon arrival at Shanghai’s train station, your local guide will greet you and transfer you to the charming Suzhou, known for its stunning canals and bridges. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is at your leisure to relax and explore at your own pace.

Day 6

Suzhou – Wuxi

After breakfast and checking out, your tour guide will take you to the stunning Lingering Garden for an exploration of its timeless beauty. Following the garden tour, you may join an optional activity at an extra cost.  Later today, your journey continues towards Wuxi.

Upon arrival at your hotel in Wuxi, proceed with check-in and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 7

Wuxi - Hangzhou

After breakfast and checking out, your tour guide will take you to a Fresh water pearl factory, where you'll learn about the fascinating process behind these exquisite gems. Following this, enjoy a visit to the serene Lihu Park, a peaceful retreat known for its beautiful landscapes.

Next, you'll be transferred to Hangzhou, often referred to as "Heaven on earth" due to its stunning natural beauty.

Upon arrival at your hotel in Hangzhou, proceed with check-in and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Alternatively, you may choose to join an optional activity at an extra cost.

Day 8

Hangzhou – Shanghai

After breakfast and checking out, your tour guide will take you on a scenic boat ride across the serene West Lake, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Following the ride, you'll visit the Dragon Well Tea Plantation, where you can explore the origins of one of China’s most famous teas. Afterward, you'll journey back to Shanghai.

Shanghai

After breakfast, your tour guide will take you on this morning’s adventure to the Shanghai History Museum, where you’ll delve into the city’s rich past and cultural heritage.

Following the museum visit, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Alternatively, you may opt to join an optional activity at an extra cost.

Day 10

Shanghai – Hong Kong

After breakfast and check-out, your transfer will take you to the airport for your flight to bustling Hong Kong!

Upon arrival, you may need to clear customs and immigration. Once cleared, collect your luggage and proceed to the exit. Please note that there will not be a dedicated local representative to greet you, and the transfer from the hotel to the airport is not included, so you will need to arrange this service independently.

Hong Kong

Enjoy a day at your own pace, where vibrant city life meets rich cultural heritage. Whether you prefer shopping, sightseeing or simply soaking in the local atmosphere, Hong Kong offers something for every traveller to enjoy.

Day 12

Hong Kong

On your final day in Hong Kong, take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the city’s unique blend of modernity and tradition at your own pace. Spend the day shopping for last-minute souvenirs in the lively Mong Kok markets or explore the upscale shopping malls in Central.

Alternatively, you can opt to join an optional activity at an extra cost.

Hong Kong – Canada

Departure day back to Canada. Please note that the transfer from your hotel to the Hong Kong International Airport is not included, so you must arrange this independently.
