Discover Prague
Overview
Wander the charming cobblestone streets of Prague, “The City of a Hundred Spires,” eating delicious food and admiring the fairytale architecture. Prague’s history is one of external influences mixing with local traditions. Home to the great kingdoms of Bohemia and one-time capital of both the Holy Roman Empire and the Habsburg Austro-Hungarian dynasty, Prague has always been a cultural crossroads. Today, its role as a regional metropolis has helped build a vibrant local cultural scene, one with a decidedly Czech flavour.

Day 6 - 8
At Leisure
There is plenty of time to explore the city and the surrounding areas.
May we suggest:
- A panoramic evening or day river cruise to see the city from a different perspective
- A visit to Český Krumlov, about 172 kilometres from Prague, a fairytale town in the heart of South Bohemia
- A visit to Kutná Hora, located about 80 kilometres to the east of Prague, a remarkably enchanting, historic city known for its silver mining
- Several small villages with easy access from Prague
Note: Czechia is full of quaint and distinctive towns and cities that provide a wide range of attractions, such as spas, castles, breweries, chateaux, monasteries and other beautiful natural features. Fortunately, Czechia is relatively small, so getting there by train, car or bus is not difficult. The best way to discover it is to leave the city and head to a traditional Czech town.
