Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Bangkok
Upon arrival at Singapore’s International Airport, you will need to collect your luggage and go through customs. Then you’ll proceed to check-in for your connecting flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival at Bangkok’s International Airport, you will need to clear customs and immigration; once cleared, please proceed to the exit doors, where a local representative will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign and will escort you to your transfer service that will take you to your hotel to check-in. The rest of the day will be at your leisure.
Day 2
Bangkok
After breakfast, you will take part of a dedicated Bangkok City Tour, with lunch included! The highlights of this tour are:
- Visit to Wat Phu Khao Thong (the Golden Mount Temple), reach the top and enjoy the spectacular views of Bangkok. The golden stupa houses a Buddha relic and welcomes worshippers all year round.
- Visit the tranquil Wat Po, the city's largest and oldest temple, home to the amazing colossal Reclining Buddha, which is almost 150 feet long and about 40 feet high.
- Make a stop at Temple of Dawn and visit the colourful Great Stupa.
The rest of the evening will be spent at leisure, or you can join an optional activity.

The River of King Dinner Cruise Tour
Cruise the beautiful Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Experience a fine buffet dinner including a wide selection of dishes ranging from Thai and international foods. See some of Thailand’s most famous attractions, such as the Temple of Dawn, The Grand Palace, Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and Rama VIII Bridge on this 2-hour cruise with a live band.
The length of the entire activity is from 18:00 to 22:00. This time includes transfers and embarking/disembarking. Note that the actual duration of the river cruise is 2 hours.

Bangkok Full-Day Optional Tour with Local Lunch Included
This morning, travel to Damnoen Saduak floating market. Enjoy a long-tail boat riding to navigate through the canals surrounded by greenery. Vendors on rowing boats will be offering local snacks, tropical fruits, and tasty dishes. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Then, we travel to the Grand Palace and the temple of the Emerald Buddha. Together, they provide Bangkok's most stunning sights for tourists. The Grand Palace is regarded as the most sacred site and spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom.
The temple of the Emerald Buddha is the main attraction and consists of over 100 brightly coloured buildings, golden spires and glittering mosaics, dating back to 1782, when Bangkok was founded. The revered figurine is made from a solid one piece of green jade.
Upon completion of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Bangkok - Chiang Rai
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bangkok’s International Airport to catch a flight to the scenic and northernmost province of Thailand, Chiang Rai!
Upon arrival to Chiang Rai Airport, you will be greeted by a local representative who will take you to have lunch at a local authentic Northern style restaurant in Chiang Rai and then visit two temples which are the famous landmarks of the province. The White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) and The Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) .
Upon completion of the tour, a delicious dinner at a traditional Thai restaurant awaits! Afterwards you will be transferred back to your hotel.

The White Temple (Wat Rong Khun)
The White Temple is one of the top 10 most beautiful temples in the world. This temple was built and designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a famous Thai artist with unique skills of creations of Thai visual and Buddhist contemporary arts. The temple is decorated with astonishing paintings including images of movie superheroes.

The Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten)
The Blue Temple stands out with its sapphire blue colour with inlays of gold. The Blue Temple’s highlights include the sculptures of mythical serpents and the astonishing temple hall.

Chiang Rai
After breakfast, you will meet your tour guide who will take you to visit the dramatic House of Opium at Golden Triangle Park, offering an informative exhibition on the history of opium which dates back almost 5,000 years. Ascend to the hilltop viewpoint to see the famous "Golden Triangle" of Southeast Asia - the meeting point of the borders of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos. The locals call it "Sop Ruak", as this is also where the Mekong meets the Ruak River.
After this visit, enjoy a local lunch. Then board a cruise down the Mekong River's banks between Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand, where you can observe local farmers and fisherman at work and discover more about how the river was involved in the opium trade.
The last stop of today’s itinerary is a visit to the renowned village of the Long-Necked Karen Tribe. Mae Salong, still inhabited by highlanders, namely the Akha, Long Neck and Salong tribes. Feel their way of life and enjoy souvenirs from community kiosks full of carved wood and silver work. Neck rings made from brass weighing 4 kg are available for you to try and take photos.

Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, you will be taken to your next stop, the ancient capital of the Lanna Kingdom, Chiang Mai.
Upon arrival to Chiang Mai, your first stop will be a visit to the most sacred temple in the North of Thailand, the Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep it contains a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. The view of Chiang Mai City from the mountain temple is phenomenal.
In the evening, you can opt to join a cooking class with a traditional Thai dinner and learn how to cook in an organic kitchen. ($)

The highlights:

Singapore
After breakfast, meet your tour guide in the lobby of the hotel who will take you on a Singapore City Tour by coach. Please refer to your final voucher and itinerary for the meeting time.
The tour takes you through the Civic District, and you'll pass by the historic Padang, the Singapore Cricket Club, the iconic Parliament House, and the impressive National Gallery Singapore, housed within the former Supreme Court Building and City Hall.
Your journey continues with a stop at the renowned Merlion Park, for breathtaking views of Marina Bay. Don't miss the chance to capture a memorable photograph with The Merlion, a captivating creature that melds the features of a lion and a fish.
Your exploration proceeds to the venerable Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore's oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples, before taking a drive through the vibrant streets of Chinatown.
Finally, your tour culminates at Singapore's inaugural UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Here, you can meander through the enchanting National Orchid Garden (admission included), home to an extensive collection of 60,000 orchid plants.
