Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Bali
Upon arrival at Singapore’s International Airport, collect your luggage and go through customs. Then proceed to check-in for your connecting flight to Denpasar’s International Airport. Upon arrival in Denpasar, the provincial capital of Bali, you will need to clear customs and immigration. Then proceed to the exit doors, where a local representative will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign and will escort your transfer service that will take you to your hotel in Ubud to check-in. The rest of the day will be at your leisure.

After breakfast, you will meet your dedicated driver/tour guide in the lobby of your hotel.
First stop: the Barong and Kris Dance. The brilliant performance of Balinese dancers, artisans, and artists practicing their professions.
Your journey continues with a visit to the stone carving of Batubulan and the woodcarving of Mas village.
You will then be taken to visit the exquisite Balinese Temple of Besakih. Besakih Temple is known as the "Mother Temple of Bali.” It was developed over more than a thousand years into a great complex of 22 separate temples, the largest and central being Pura Penataran Agung.
Your tour guide will then take you to the Tampaksiring Holy Spring, your last stop of today’s adventure! The temple compound consists of a petirtaan, or bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go for ritual purification.
The rest of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast, meet your driver/tour guide in the lobby of your hotel to continue with today’s agenda.
Your first visit of the day will be to the breathtaking Jatiluwih rice fields, a UNESCO Cultural Landscape. This amazing site of terraced green fields extends from the mountain's peak to where it meets the sea. This region's rice fields are grown using a technique that has been conserved for centuries and handed down from father to son.
Then make your way to the Ulun Danu Temple Complex in the mountains, which was established by the King of Mengwi and is devoted to the gods of the lakes.
Afterwards, you will continue to Taman Ayun to see the impressive Royal Temple from the Mengwi Empire, which is surrounded by a tranquil pond and gardens. Tanah Lot, a temple located atop a seashore rock sculpted by hundreds of years of ocean tides, offers breathtaking vistas. Meander the lanes of the Tanah Lot, where artisans sell Bali's famous handicrafts.

After breakfast and checking out, you will meet the driver/tour guide in the lobby of the hotel.
The first stop will be the Monkey Forest Sanctuary, which is home to a large population of long-tailed macaques that are revered in Balinese Hindu tradition.
Upon completion of the visit to this magnificent sanctuary, your tour guide will take you to the Peliatan Royal Palace, one of Ubud's oldest palaces. The last king of Ubud lived in this intricately crafted building, which was built in 1769. Spend time exploring the palace and the fascinating surroundings.
Lastly, visit Bali Butterfly Park, one of the largest butterfly parks in Asia. Participate in the colourful creatures' transformations by interacting with them. Once the visit is completed, you will be transferred to your hotel in Benoa, Bali, to check-in. Rest of the day at leisure

Full-day Pacung Sangeh Village Tour (Lunch Included)
An immersive experience into the daily life of the island's residents. In the morning, you will be welcomed into a real family compound in the village and be given a tour. The family temple, the villagers, and the unique celebrations that take place at this magnificent location are all covered during this excursion. When you’re lucky, a special ceremony takes place. You will be served a traditional morning tea made of Balinese pastries, fruits, fresh coconuts, and Bali Kopi by the Balinese women who live in the compound.
After morning tea, you will experience making Canang Sari—the daily offerings made each day by the Balinese Hindus. You will create your own exquisite Canang Sari to be used later in the day at your blessing ceremony. Lunch serves traditional Balinese and Indonesian dishes.
After lunch, you will visit the only holy water site in Bali that has a waterfall and Hidden Canyon. Before entering the Holy Water site, you will be dressed in a sarong and a sash. Using the offerings you made earlier today in the village, you receive a traditional blessing at the temple. Hindus in Bali have the belief that this ceremony helps to heal illness and purify the aura and karma of past lives. For those willing to get wet, you can also experience a full cleansing ritual in the Holy Water. This includes visiting the Hidden Canyon and immersing yourself in the waterfall of the Holy Water.
Upon completion of the full-day tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel.

After breakfast, meet your driver/tour guide who will take you to Denpasar’s International Airport to catch your flight to Singapore. Upon arrival at Singapore’s International Airport, you will need to clear customs. Then, proceed to the exit, where a local representative will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign. You will then be transferred to your Singapore hotel to check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, meet your driver/tour guide in the lobby of the hotel who will take you on a Singapore city tour. This half-day tour is a coach tour. Please refer to your final voucher and itinerary for the meeting time.
The half-day Singapore city tour takes you through the Civic District, offering a scenic drive past notable landmarks. You'll pass by the historic Padang, the Singapore Cricket Club, the iconic Parliament House, and the impressive National Gallery Singapore, housed within the former Supreme Court Building and City Hall.
Your journey continues with a stop at the renowned Merlion Park, where you can savour breathtaking views of Marina Bay. Don't miss the chance to capture a memorable photograph with The Merlion, a captivating creature that melds the features of a lion and a fish.
Your exploration proceeds to the venerable Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore's oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples, before taking a drive through the vibrant streets of Chinatown.
Finally, your tour culminates at Singapore's inaugural UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Here, you can meander through the enchanting National Orchid Garden (admission included), home to an extensive collection of 60,000 orchid plants.
Upon completion of this tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
