Use your ticket to hop aboard the train to Zurich HB railway station and make your way to your hotel.
Day 3
Zurich: Appenzell & St. Gallen
Head to the car-free village of Appenzell, a region known for its rural customs and traditions.

Enjoy this scenic train ride that takes you from Lugano to Flüelen via Bellinzona in a panoramic train car. In Flüelen, board a historic paddle steamer for a cruise across Lake Lucerne to complete this unforgettable journey.

Lucerne – Mont Rigi
Take advantage of your rail pass and head out on a self-guided excursion to Mount Rigi. Experience an authentic Swiss mountain hike where you’ll get the ultimate view of the world below. From there, spend the night at a dazzling restaurant in Lucerne.

Travel by boat to Vitznau, then board the Mt. Rigi Railways train to the top to take in the majestic 360° panoramic view. Journey back down by cogwheel railway, then take the boat back to Lucerne.

Head to Montreux via the popular GoldenPass Line route. This route is in two parts with the first on the Lucerne-Interlaken Express and the second from Interlaken on the GoldenPass Express.

Montreux - Geneva
Explore the musical city of Montreux at your own pace. Start off with a visit to the famous Freddie Mercury statue established in commemoration of the late, great rock star. Then, see the Queen Studio Experience, where famous British rock group Queen produced and recorded many of their hit songs.
Later in the day, use your pass to travel by train to Geneva.
