Fun Fact

Grenadians love a good time, especially during the annual carnival of Spicemas. Expect costumed parades, soca shows, a beauty pageant and J’ouvert, the ultimate street party featuring horned devils and fiery music. The celebration is based on the pre-Lent masquerades of European colonizers, but locals infused the festivities with West African traditions and changed the dates to August.
