What to bring back

Although there are many shops where you can find trinkets made by designers and local artisans, we recommend bringing back wine from one of Northern Georgia’s vineyards on a day trip from Atlanta. Jellies and spreads are another popular option to share with loved ones.

What to eat

No matter which neighbourhood you’re visiting, there’s something for everyone’s palate. For instance, sport lovers and nearby college students love to return to The Varsity in downtown Atlanta for its chili-cheese dogs, but you can also enjoy riverside views at the Canoe in Vinings or classic Italian charm at La Grotta in Buckhead.

Fun fact

If you thought airport traffic wasn’t busy enough, then you haven’t been to Atlanta. The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, located in downtown Atlanta, is famous for being the world’s busiest airport, and its traffic has only increased more and more over the years.
