Stockholm, one of the most beautiful capitals in the world, is built on 14 islands connected by 57 bridges. The beautiful buildings, greenery, fresh air, and proximity to the water are distinctive traits of this city.

With its 750-year-old history and rich cultural significance, Stockholm offers a wide selection of world-class museums and attractions. Most of the city’s attractions can be reached on foot, and there is a good chance of experiencing a lot of things in a short amount of time.

Day 1

Depart Canada

Fly to Stockholm.

Day 2-8

Welcome to Stockholm – Sightseeing

Upon arrival in Stockholm, take your private transfer to your hotel and check in, where you will spend the next seven nights discovering the capital of Sweden and exploring the surrounding areas.

Take advantage of the tours included in your package, and use the free time to explore on your own.

  • Nordic Food Walk Experience

    Immerse yourself into Scandinavian cuisine. You will participate in a Nordic Food Walk that takes 4 hours. Walk through the oldest parts of Stockholm, Gamla Stan, the new market halls, and some of the trendiest dining places in town. The leisurely walk is 4 km long and you will sit down several times. Tasting may vary according to season and supply.

  • Boat Tour to Drottningholm Palace (including Palace entrance)

    Take a return boat trip to Drottningholm Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is also the most well-preserved royal castle built in the 1600s in all of Sweden. Here, you will experience a historic milieu of the highest international standards, and is the Swedish royal family’s permanent home residence.

  • Stockholm Royal Canal Tour

    The sightseeing boat departs from Strömkajen in the center of Stockholm. Leave the inner city behind and pass beautiful and famous buildings as you enter the peaceful Djurgården Canal. Along the canal, you will enjoy the view of several historical buildings, museums, and beautiful green areas. Heading home, a fabulous view of the Stockholm skyline opens – well worth enjoying from the water!

  • 24-hour Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Pass

    This 24-hour Hop-On Hop-Off ticket allows you visit the most iconic sights of Stockholm. The sightseeing tour starts at the Royal Swedish Opera and stops at 18 different locations along the way. It presents the most beautiful and world-famous places in the city, like the Old Town, the old royal hunting ground Djurgården, and the small, southern island of Södermalm with its hip urban atmosphere.

  • Vasa Museum & Skansen Museum

    Visit two museums in Stockholm. First, you will have an entrance pass to Vasa Museum, where the best-preserved 17th century ship in the world and unique art treasures are displayed. More than 98% of the ship is original and it is decorated with hundreds of carved sculptures. Your second visit will be to the Skansen open-air museum, which is the oldest of its kind, showcasing the whole of Sweden with houses and farmsteads from every part of the country.

Return to Canada

After breakfast, take your transfer to Stockholm airport to board your return flight back home to Canada.
