Exciting and unpredictable, Colombia lures you to sultry South America. Reach new heights in its hip, high-altitude capital, or atop the world's longest mountain range. Float on, through swaths of rainforest, to a barren desert by the sea. Discover a lost city, or dive down to sunken ships and coral gardens. From pristine coast to natural marvels and colonial towns, Colombia defies expectations.

Fun fact
Colombia is considered a “megadiverse” country—it’s the second most biodiverse country in the world, ranking just after Brazil, which is about ten times its size. It’s home to over 50,000 different species, including 20% of the planet’s birds and many animals native to Colombia that can’t be found anywhere else like the pink river dolphin and cotton-top tamarin (basically an adorable monkey with a mullet).
